Exploring the Realm of Open Art Competitions

Open art is in general not a particular art theme, but a terminology for artwork on any theme. This term is generally used in art competitions to let artists know that they have the liberty to decide the theme of their submissions. An advantage of open art competitions is that you get to choose your best work without bothering yourself with the theme of the work. This allows you to put your best foot forward and present works that you are confident about, thus increasing your winning probability. However, a major drawback of such competitions is that artists are often spoiled with too many choices and they end up feeling overwhelmed and confused when choosing an artwork. Hence, it is always best to do some research before entering into any competition.
